IMPORTANT THING
My dearest readers, I wish you a good evening...
Hello or good evening, I know we're entering the holiday season and I'm sorry if you're not satisfied that there hasn't been more of a story, but right now I'm continuing my book and I'll send you many more answers when it's finished. In any case, I'm telling you now that I've never gone this far in a story, but when you read it, it will answer quite a few questions about this story, "The Call for Number 38." I've already considered three volumes for this story because I couldn't tell it all in a single book or on a single webpage.
I'll give you lots more information. In any case, I wish you a good day and a good December before Christmas.
Mr. Lostoon
Good evening or good morning everyone, I know most of you are waiting for a new story, but I regret to inform you that I won't be publishing one anytime soon. I'm currently continuing to write my book about Call 38. I promise I'll finish it and perhaps sell it in October 2026, but I can't give you any more information because I don't think I've completely finished it myself. However, I have some very good news to share! Today I'm teasing you with the first page, giving you a glimpse of the story's style and atmosphere.
Chapter 1
"The caller"
???: "Hello, officer?"
Officer Mark: "Yes, who is this?"
???: "I'm looking for my little girl. She disappeared a week ago. Could you come and investigate?"
Officer Mark: "Where do you live?"
???: "Where we live… Do you have any paper with you?"
Officer Mark: "Yes, I'm listening."
???: "Write this down: Number 38."
Officer Mark: "Number 38? But that's the number you're calling us on."
???: "Look, I know this might sound strange, but I promise you everything I'm telling you is true. This is where we live! Give it to your dispatcher, and I promise I'm not making fun of you."
Officer Mark: "Are you sure?"
???: "YES!! I promise you it's true. Promise me you'll give it to headquarters and that you'll call me back to tell me you're coming!"
Officer Mark: "We can't promise you much, because we don't know of any city called 38, but we'll try our best and we'll call you back."
???: "Thank you very much, officer. We're eagerly awaiting your return. You have no idea how much I miss her..."
Officer Mark: "But we imagine losing someone is hard, and we promise we'll do everything we can to find her. But first, could you tell us how you're coming..."
But before Marc could finish speaking, the call suddenly cut off, and Marc didn't understand why. He turned to his colleague, who was eating a sandwich and looking at the streets of their city. He didn't seem to care at all about Marc's call with that woman. He turned back and asked Marc, "Who was that again, a crazy woman looking for her cat or a boy who dropped his ice cream? Ha ha ha!!" Marc laughed with him, unaware of the horrors that were about to befall him...
